Flax Haven is a new holiday home that has been built in to the remote lush surroundings of the Paparoa National Rain Forest.

The sea views from Flax Haven are spectacular, being perched high upon a cliff peering out over the rumbling Tasman Sea.  It’s a brilliant way to escape from the high speed of life, get back to basics and in tune with nature - the sunrises and sunsets and the tides.  It offers holiday makers the comfort and facilities required to relax and enjoy the best that Punkaiki offers.

Facilities

Bedrooms
Flax Haven has a total of 3 double beds and one single.
Upstairs Bedroom: This bedroom offers views of the Tasman and surrounding native bush, and opens out to it’s own balcony. It has it’s own bathroom ensuite.
Downstairs Bedrooms:  This bedroom offers a Double bed with sea views, opening out to the balcony.
The Single bedroom has sea views.

Bathrooms
1 x Bathroom downstairs including shower and bath.
1 x Bathroom upstairs (ensuite)

Laundry
A front loading washing machine is available for you to use

Kitchen
This kitchen is fully equipped!
With a fridge/freezer, toaster, panini iron, juicer, thick shake maker, full range of pots and non stick pans, wine glasses, crockery, cutlery.

Lounge/Dining
Dining table and an additional 4 seats at the bar.
Two large leather comfy couches and one large single leather seat for your relaxation.
There is heating, both gas and a electric heater.

Spa Pool
For those that enjoy star gazing, a good soak in the inviting spa is ideal for starry nights. It has special features such as the ‘Moto Massage’, you can adjust the pressure to suit and each seated position in the Spa is provided with both foot and back jets.  The spa also has various lighting – red, blue, yellow. BBQ
A BBQ is also available for those wanting to cook up a storm - the legendary kiwi BBQ meal.

TV & DVD
For some visual escapism Sky TV is available on request.  The standard channels, music channels and a DVD player are available for your entertainment with a DVD selection available locally.
